Record GCSE grades for Golborne High

Golborne High School has for the second year running achieved its best ever GCSE results.

The 5 A*-C figures increased by 12% to 74%, the highest figures in the school’s history, exceeding the local authority and school targets. The 5 A*-C figures (including English and Maths) showed an improvement on last year and once again were the best ever achieved at 51%. This represents two successive years of significant progress in the Government’s flagship measure.

This is a result of the continued hard work and effort that staff, students and parents have put in to support the teaching and learning initiatives implemented over recent years.
